A Brief History of Wise Notes
Wise Notes came into being in 2012 when we took upon the task of improving the quality and potential of the honours level notes and study materials.

The first edition of the Wise Notes had a splendid collection of handwritten notes. These notes were written by the English Honours students for the students in a simple yet magnificent manner. We spent a great time in collecting rewriting the notes by the students in a formidable compilation.

In the year 2013, the second edition of the Wise Notes started doing away with the hand written notes by transforming it into digital edition. The digital notes were later printed into a fine copy which can be easier understood and read by the students.

Even the second and third edition has about 20% of the notes in form of handwritten and Xerox copies.
Finally the fourth edition of the Wise Notes was released in November 2015 which has been completely printed at our establishment and it doesn’t contain any handwritten notes. Furthermore we took initiative in providing Xeroxes from some of the influential and popular English honours books and study material to the customers in the Wise Notes compilation.
In the year 2017, CU decided to tweak the syllabus for the English Honours by getting rid of certain books in favor of new books while keeping the core syllabus same. Our team quickly came into action and brought the best of the notes for the students to face the 2018 university examinations with the launch of the fifth edition of the Wise Notes.
In year 2018, our team started work on the very new and vast compilation of notes to cater to the needs of semester wise syllabus. The introduction of the semester wise syllabus was the biggest move made by the university in more than a decade. Now our latest compilation brings the best of the answers which are quite hard to find at the moment. Wise Notes still empowers the students to face the university examinations with better determinations.

In year 2021, we came back gain with improved and advanced version of the notes for the CU English honours students. New notes edition were launched on the auspicious day of Saraswati Puja on 16th February 2021.
